Zoom
Zoom

This time I'll talk about "why you should use Google Meet rather than Zoom."
By reading this article, you can use online meeting tools comfortably and move your business forward smoothly.

Going to the office for a hanko seal in the middle of a state of emergency...
Some people have voiced security concerns about Zoom or wonder whether another tool might be better, and in a previous video I talked about how "you should still use Zoom anyway."
↓ [For Those Worried About Zoom's Dangers] Google Meet Is the Best! Why You Should Still Use Zoom
Why should you use Zoom no matter what?
Because Zoom has become the industry-standard tool for online meetings, web conferences, and seminars.
First get comfortable using Zoom normally. Then consider other tools — that's the idea.
But I don't really want to use Zoom...
I pay annually for a paid Zoom plan, and I still feel that way.
Personally, it's because I've increasingly found Zoom hard to use.
For example, my company has a client we've worked with for a long time, and we've had Zoom meetings countless times.
But the audio cuts out every single time. Lately, perhaps because of the increase in users, stability has dropped even further and the interface has become harder to understand.
When I tried Google Meet during the stay-at-home period, it worked great!
Except in situations where I have to use Zoom, I prefer to use Google Meet.
The other day, with the client mentioned above, we used Google Meet instead of Zoom for the first time, and in fact the audio didn't cut out and we finished the meeting smoothly.
Also, personally, compared with Zoom, which I can't help finding a bit cheap-sounding, Google Meet feels like it properly delivers both bass and treble.
If you use G Suite regularly, starting and ending a Google Meet call is intuitive.
One of Zoom's attractions is that it has many features, but if all you need is screen sharing and talking, I think Google Meet is enough.
Another big plus is that Google Meet doesn't have the 40-minute limit on multi-person meetings found in Zoom's free version.
Don't fixate on Zoom; make the easy-to-use tool your main one
Competition among online meeting tools is intensifying right now.
Zoom will be updated many more times, and new options such as Facebook's Rooms are also appearing.
What matters in telework is not mastering tools but working productively from a distance.
Rather than being unable to work at all because Zoom is acting up, it's better to be prepared to use multiple tools just in case.
Among them, Google Meet, whose audio and video data flow without interruption, is more than worth using.
It was hard enough learning Zoom, and now I have to learn Google Meet too...
For people who feel that way, I'd also like to publish articles and videos on how to use Google Meet.
If you're unsure about using or running these tools, my company also supports the introduction of telework, so if you're interested, please get in touch.
