September 13, 2018 Is a Super-Lucky Day Where Tenshanichi, Ichiryu Manbaibi, and Taian Overlap. Let's Ride the Luck and Take On Big Goals

This one is a slightly spiritual topic, but...

The upcoming September 13, 2018, is a super-lucky day on which Tenshanichi, Ichiryu Manbaibi, and Taian all overlap.

This day is said to be "a day when new things you start are likely to bear fruit," but is that really so?
Since the chance is here, I'd like to take advantage of the luck somehow.

What kind of day is it?

Let's look at quotes from Wikipedia to see what each of these days is.

Tenshanichi
Read "tensha-nichi" or "tensha-bi." It is written as "ten-shiya" in almanacs and is also listed among the senjitsu (selected days).

On this day, the hundred gods ascend to heaven and heaven forgives the sins of all things, making it the most auspicious day of all. For that reason, only Tenshanichi is annotated with "everything is good (yorozu yoshi)."

Tenshanichi is determined by the season and the sexagenary cycle of the day, and occurs five or six times a year.

Ichiryu Manbaibi (read "ichiryu-manbai-bi" or "ichiryu-manbai-nichi") is one of the senjitsu. It is also simply called Manbai.

"Ichiryu manbai" means that a single grain of unhulled rice grows into ears of rice that yield ten thousand times over. Ichiryu Manbaibi is considered a good day to start anything, and especially auspicious for starting work, opening a store, sowing seeds, and spending money. However, borrowing money or borrowing things from people is considered unlucky, since the seeds of hardship are multiplied ten thousand times.

Taian (pronounced "taian") means "great peace." It is considered the most auspicious day among the rokuyo (six-day cycle). It is said to be lucky for everything, a day on which nothing fails; weddings in particular are often held on Taian days, and many people choose this day for car registration and delivery, or for the start of a building's foundation work and its handover. It is also said that cabinets are formed on days chosen to be Taian. However, there is also a view that originally nothing should be done on this day. In this respect, it can be said to roughly correspond to the Sabbath in Christianity and Judaism.

Wikipedia

To sum up, "Tenshanichi: the most auspicious day, occurring only a few times a year" × "Ichiryu Manbaibi: auspicious for starting work, opening a store, sowing seeds, and spending money" × "Taian: lucky for everything, a day on which nothing fails"—it seems to be a day with a great deal of leverage on good fortune.

"What do I want to achieve?" matters more than "What should I start?"

On the other hand, as the saying goes, "the day you decide is your lucky day"—starting anything is always luckiest when it's "right now."

The guru of gurus of modern marketing, nicknamed "the millionaire maker," Dan Kennedy, says, "The more you speed up your work, the more money comes to you."

Also, the essence is "planning < execution < (improvement) < continuation."
You can only get results once you have reached a sufficient phase of continuation.

So simply renewing your resolve on a super-lucky day probably won't mean anything.

A day to start building habits while having luck on your side

On the flip side, I have had many experiences of "luck being on my side beyond my actual ability," so my view is that when I can get good fortune on my side, I want to do so actively.

So I decided to make the most of this super-lucky day in the following way:

  1. Decide what I will work on from this year's super-lucky day until next year's super-lucky day (deadline: this year's super-lucky day = September 13, 2018)
  2. Start that effort on the super-lucky day
  3. Measure the results one week before next year's super-lucky day, and based on that, decide what to do over the following year until the next super-lucky day
  4. Repeat

Praying for good fortune is making a vow to the gods, and by extension making a promise to yourself

I think praying for good fortune means, "I will do my very best myself, but for what is beyond my reach, please lend me your divine power." And I see it as an affirmation that "gratitude goes to the gods (the environment), and the future that comes true is something I build myself."

There are many occasions a year to make a "wish" before the gods as part of annual events (most people do it only at the turn of the year), but the essence is surely to create opportunities for growth: at each milestone, being grateful to your environment, reviewing what you do, and acting with strong will.

In other words, isn't the best way to bring good fortune to use the "super-lucky day" campaign to "set a high goal and take action to achieve it"?

What will I do on the super-lucky day?

Thanks to two client companies, I am keeping more money than I did as a salaried employee, so I have started building the foundation of my "owned business." I have already purchased a landing page tool, and research and ideas for products and services are already underway.

I will then run multiple plans and achieve seven-figure sales within six months to a year.

On the super-lucky day, I will visit my local guardian shrine in the morning, retake my profile photo, and update it on the site. Also, my server and domain renewals are in September, so I will do them on the super-lucky day.

Other than that, I plan to simply get excited about my own future.
